Rachael Finch hits back at troll who says she ‘underfeeds’ her two young children

Model and TV host Rachael Finch has lashed out at a troll who said she was ‘abusing’ her children by ‘underfeeding them’.

The Former Miss Universe is extremely passionate about health, and rarely allows her children Violet, eight, and Dominic, five, to eat processed or sugary foods.

One of her social media followers cruelly commented on the way she feeds her kids and claimed it will lead to eating disorders when they are older.

‘Hi Rachael, I’ve been following you for years, have bought most of your kissed earth products, however, I need to say, what your feeding your kids is a form of child abuse,’ they wrote.

‘They’re underfed, and extremely underweight. Please feed them more. You are denying them a childhood.

‘I have no doubt Violet will grow up some form of eating disorder with what you feed her.

‘I will no longer be purchasing your products (as great as they may be).’

Rachel, who shares her two children with her dancer husband Michael Miziner, took a screenshot of the comment and posted it on her Instagram page to sham the troll.

The mother-of-two was furious at the accusation and called the remarks dangerous.

‘Child abuse. Eating disorder. Underfed. How would you respond? Would you respond?’ she wrote.

‘I feel lucky because I have the emotional support at home to help me deal with these types of comments.

‘But for those who don’t this could be dangerous. Despite the fact that this person has no clue about our child’s well-being besides a few food posts I make from time to time, it plays on your thoughts and feelings.

‘This post is purely a reminder to think twice before you speak or type.

‘You don’t have to agree with everyone, but you should keep your potentially damaging comments to yourself.

‘Spread kindness instead please.’

Many of the Rachael’s friends and fans jumped to the comments section to defend her.

Fellow fitness influencer Ashy Bines wrote: ‘Abuse feeding them organic, unprocessed , nutrient rich meals? Wow ok your doing amazing and your kids are so healthy!!!’

While chef Miguel Maestre commented: ‘Haters are gonna hate , don’t worry about it don’t give it any of your time.

‘You got the most beautiful family you guys are a such a nice people keep shinning amiga’.

Rachael has amassed over 320,000 followers on Instagram by sharing her healthy lifestyle that includes yoga, meditation, and plenty of healthy recipes.

She rarely gives her children processed food and said her daughter Violet didn’t even know what sugar tasted like until she was over the age of 3.

This isn’t the first time that the influencer has been told by her followers that her children are malnourished.

Speaking on the It’s All Her podcast last April, she said many cruel trolls were commenting on her children’s bodies.

‘I’ve had so many comments like, “your kids are too thin, you’re depriving them of a childhood, they’re going to grow with mental disorders, they’re going to hate you when they’re older, why don’t you let them live their life”.

Rachael says that her healthy meals appear to have prompted the comments.

‘They see me cooking stuff at home and because I like to share a lot of the healthy versions of what I make they think that my children are deprived and it’s really sad’ she said.

‘At the start… for days it left me just dumbfounded at how people could be so nasty.’
