Two ‘racist’ British women were removed from a flight after they said three Muslim men in white prayer robes on board were ‘terrorists’ and ‘a threat’, passengers have claimed.

Video shows one of the women taking her bags from the overhead locker before being removed from the Thomas Cook flight by police after 1am yesterday morning.

The journey from Dalaman, Turkey, to London Gatwick was delayed by an hour and 20 minutes.

Footage shows other passengers calling one of the women a ‘p****’ and selfish as she is taken off the plane.

A third can be heard asking her, ‘how are you going to get back to England then?’

Mario Van Poppel, a Belgian father-of-three who was on the flight, said the woman was a ‘crazy racist’.

‘A passenger on our Thomas Cook flight refuses to stay on the plane because three bearded men in white prayer robes are on board,’ he tweeted.

Shanea Kerry, who was also on board, said the women called her a ‘fat bitch’ when she confronted them for their ‘disgusting behaviour’.

The two women first started to act distressed and pace up and down the plane, before asking the crew to remove the men, claimed the passenger.

When this was refused, the women reportedly said they would not fly anymore.

Shanea said that when one of the women came to collect their bags abuse was ‘flying around the plane’.

‘Quite a few people called her out fro the racism and she continued to tell us we are stupid for staying on the plane with the three men’, she tweeted.

‘I then highlighted her stupidity in flying to a country rooted in Islamic values then discriminating against Muslims.’

A Thomas Cook Airlines spokeswoman told The Mirror: ‘Two passengers on flight MT105 from Dalaman to London Gatwick were removed from the aircraft by police following offensive behaviour on board.

‘The safety of our customers and crew is always our first priority and we do not accept this kind of behaviour on our aircraft. We are sorry to our customers for the delay this caused to their flight.’
