‘Racist’ is caught on camera pushing black boy onto train tracks after hurling abuse at him

This is the shocking moment a 15-year-old boy is racially abused and pushed onto train tracks by three adults in Flanders, Belgium.

Leroy Abraham was waiting for a train at Aarschot station along with his older sister and younger brother in August this year, when he was attacked by two women and a man.

Video footage shows the man, a 35-year-old only named as Jonas V., pushing Leroy onto the tracks – who then drags the man down with him, and punches him.

Following a heated exchange during which the three adults reportedly spouted racist abuse at Leroy, Jonas V. is seen grabbing hold of the teenager and throwing him off the platform.

Man, 35, and women, aged 31 and 43, attacked Leroy at a train station in Belgium

Speaking to local news website HLN , Leroy said: ‘When I fell [onto the tracks] my heart stopped for a moment, because I did not know when the train would arrive.

‘I was really afraid to die.’

When he tries to get back up onto the platforms again, the 35-year-old pushes him back, but Leroy manages to bring him down with him and they both fall onto the tracks.

The video footage shows Jonas V. and Leroy battling on the tracks for a few seconds before the two women, aged 43 and 31, step in to defend him.

A woman then jumps down onto the tracks, reportedly Leroy’s older sister, to help separate the combatants.

Local media reports that the women racially abused her too, and the video sees her push one of them and grab her by the hair.

Others get involved in the fight, which is eventually stopped by station staff.

Jonas V was arrested shortly afterwards and charged with ‘GBH with a racist character’, according to HLN.

Local media reports that Jonas V. has a significant criminal record and was on probation when he attacked the 15-year-old.

His rap sheet includes stealing 50 euros from a blind woman at a cash point and pushing an elderly woman off a bike when she spotted him stealing alcohol at a supermarket.
