Radio shock jock is SACKED after posing for a photo alongside Prime Minister Scott Morrison with a VERY cheeky hidden message – but has the station overreacted?

A radio host has been sacked after he posed for a photo with Prime Minister Scott Morrison while holding a mug with an explicit message.
Mr Morrison quickly removed the picture from Instagram after he realised the mug the host was holding had a curved handle followed by letters U, N and T after he popped by Hit FM’s studio in Cairns, far north of Queensland, on Wednesday.
Shad Wicker, the former half of the Shad and Carly show, was due to leave Hit FM and host a new show on 2GO and Triple M in Gosford, New South Wales.
However, he’s been sacked from Southern Cross Austereo over the incident – and for asking Mr Morrison if he peeked at Opposition Leader Bill Shorten in the toilets, The Cairns Post reported.

The white mug has the letters U, N, T written in pink, and the curved handle is pink too, which combined creates a naughty word
Social media users were quick to spot the cheeky mug and began sharing the image, forcing Mr Morrison to quickly delete the image from his account
Mr Wicker asked Mr Morrison about his experiences in joint urinals in an awkward conversation on live radio.
‘Do you ever look?’ the radio host asked in a very suggestive manner.
He then asked if he’s ever peeked at Bill Shorten.
Social media users were quick to spot the cheeky mug and began sharing the image, forcing Mr Morrison to quickly delete the image from his account.
Mr Wicker, however, thought the image was hilarious and posted it to his own Instagram account, along with a close up of the ‘naughty mug’.
A spokesman for the radio station said: ‘Southern Cross Austereo sincerely apologises for the actions of Shad Wicker host of Cairns Hit FM breakfast show yesterday.
‘This conduct is not acceptable and does not live up to the social and moral code of conduct that we endorse and expect from all our people.’

Mr Wicker’s former position is no longer available, with station managers furious about the radio host’s disrespectful behaviour towards the Prime Minister.
He will move to New South Wales to host a new show on 2GO and Triple M in Gosford in the Central Coast.
‘Catchya Cairns! Thanks for the awesome send off!’ he posted on Instagram along with a photo of a farewell cake and station staff.
