Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams is clearly in good spirits after Sunday’s 30-6 win over the New York Giants – and appears pleased to see the back of former head coach Josh McDaniels.
Adams, 30, was sitting courtside at the T-Mobile Arena in Vegas with former MLB player Dexter Fowler, catching women’s college basketball action on Monday night. Before No 20 Colorado upset the top-tanked and defending champions LSU, Adams was recorded while talking to one of the officials.
‘Love to see you guys get back on that winning track yesterday,’ the official told Adams in a clip posted by Bleacher Report.
‘You went yesterday?’ Adams asked in response as they passed the basketball.
The referee then walked closer to Adams and told him his section from the night before. ‘It’s going to be better now,’ Adams reaffirmed.

The Raiders beat the New York Giants, 30-6, under interim head coach Antonio Pierce
Sunday’s win came after McDaniels’ firing on October 31. The Raiders were off to a 3-5 start under McDaniels, who was fired after a 26-14 loss to the Lions.
Five days before his firing, players and staff reportedly held an intense meeting to call McDaniels out on his controlling nature. The NFL network stated that McDaniels was a ‘shell of himself’ following the meeting.
After McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler were fired, the Raiders locker room was visibly refreshed.
‘It’s more of a mindset that we’re trying to … not force, but just have moving forward to be as positive as possible,’ Adams said per The Athletic. ‘There is a definitive shift now where we can say things are different and we have an opportunity to change it.’
‘We’re not walking on eggshells everywhere,’ receiver Hunter Renfrow added.
Raiders Owner Mark Davis appointed Champ Kelly as the interim GM with Antonio Pierce as the acting head coach.
Adams had four receptions for 34 yards against the Giants as the Raiders look to beat the Jets on Sunday. Las Vegas is currently third in the AFC West.
