Rapper 360 would message Schapelle Corby in jail

He’s the tattooed rapper known for tracks Live It Up and Price Of Fame.

And 360, real name Matt Colwell, revealed the bizarre friendship he’s struck with none other than convicted drug smuggler Schapelle Corby.

On Tuesday’s 92.9 Heidi, Will & Woody radio show, the 31-year-old said that he would ‘private message’ her on Facebook, while she was serving time at Indonesia’s Kerobokan Prison.

Co-host Heidi Anderson quizzed 360 on his connection with Schapelle, after noticing the pair follow each other on Instagram.

‘I’ve known Schapelle Corby for a while,’ the musician said of the 40-year-old.

‘I actually…fun fact, I used to talk to her while she was in jail. It was on Facebook, so it was just private messaging and stuff.

Finding the friendship surprising, Heidi and her co-hosts quizzed 360 on how their communication came about.

‘Facebook mates (introduced us),’ he offered, before going on to state that their chats would be about his music and her living conditions in jail.

The former beautician’s life was forever changed the moment a customs officer lifted 4.2kg of top-quality marijuana from her boogie board bag the afternoon of October 8, 2004, in Indonesia.

However since her return to Australia, it appears Schapelle has put the past behind her – and established herself as a social media influencer.

Sharing snaps with her 196,000 Instagram followers, the former felon has been seen sipping champagne for her 40th birthday and soaking up the sunshine in coastal locations.
