  • Coronavirus symptoms: what are they and should you see a doctor?

RB Leipzig are looking to keep both Angelino and Patrik Schick on their books this summer but they might not get their way due to the coronavirus outbreak, according to reports.

Angelino and Schick, on loan from Manchester City and Roma respectively, have impressed since joining Leipzig on a temporary basis – helping the club reach the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time ever.

But according to German publication SportBILD, the coronavirus pandemic could force Julian Nagelsmann’s side to choose between the two as they cannot afford to keep both players.

Angelino has been quick to adapt to the style Nagelsmann wants to play, playing an instrumental role as Leipzig knocked Tottenham out of the Champions League.

Since his January loan move, the left-back has featured seven times in all competitions for Leipzig, scoring once.

Meanwhile, Schick has impressed up front playing alongside star man Timo Werner following his loan move from Roma in September 2019.

The Czech Republic international has netted seven goals and created two assists in 18 matches across the Bundesliga and Champions League.

A tough decision awaits Nagelsmann as soon as the suspension of football due to the coronavirus crisis comes to an end.
