Read the vile messages Gable Tostee’s ‘mates’ sent to a heartbroken woman he met on Tinder

A school teacher has burst into tears as she shared more chilling messages she claims were sent by a female friend of acquitted murder accused Gable Tostee.

Sabrina ‘Bree’ Collins became ‘friends’ with the dating app enthusiast, who now calls himself Eric Thomas, after matching with him on Tinder before the relationship soured late last year.

She recently went public with claims she was harassed in a sinister rambling voicemail message from a female friend of Mr Tostee’s who told her to kill herself.

Ms Collins has since gone public with more bombshell claims and shared more chilling text messages and voicemails as she warned other women to be careful when using dating apps.

Mr Tostee has since branded her ‘delusional’ and denied many of her claims.

The message that devastated the British expat the most was an expletive-filled audio saying that she would never be a ‘f*******mother or wife because she was a ‘f****** head case and f****** potato’, she claims.

‘It took me a long time to actually listen to it,’ Ms Collins told A Current Affair as she broke down in tears.

‘When I listened to it, I was just shocked. I was shocked. I was like, what type of person would send this to another person?’

She also shared more abusive text messages.

‘Back off. he doesn’t want you. Never did. You’re disgusting,’ one vile message read.

Ms Collins claims the messages have had a life-changing impact on her.

‘It’s made me feel worthless,’ she said.

‘It’s changed the way I see things, my personality. I don’t go out like I used to.’

Queensland Police said there was insufficient evidence to proceed with a criminal complaint in relation to the messages sent to Ms Collins.

She claimed she also received messages from Mr Tostee threatening court action and reporting her to her bosses.

‘Are you alright in the head? We met twice over a year ago and you’re obsessing. You need to cut it out or I’ll get a court order on you, ya f******* weirdo,’ one text read.

Another said: ‘I might report your nutty video and all the screenshots of everything to Department of Education.’

Mr Tostee was cleared of murder after Tinder date Warriena Wright, 26, plummeted 14 floors from his unit balcony on the Gold Coast in 2014.

Ms Collins allegedly he demonstrated to her what happened the night Ms Wright died.

‘So he took my foot and he was showing me and dragging me around a little bit, and then he locked me on the balcony to show me what it was like,’ Ms Collins claimed.

When asked if she thought it was weird or creepy, Ms Collins replied: ‘At the time, I wanted to show him that I trusted him.’

Mr Tostee strenuously denied to A Current Affair the alleged re-enactment ever happened but refused comment further about his time with Ms Collins.

She has since sworn off Tinder and has warned young women to be careful when using dating apps.

‘I want my story to be out there just in case something happens and I don’t get to tell my story,’ Ms Collins said

‘For me, I have tried it, and it’s ended up being a bit of a nightmare.’

‘I’m off it and I’m not going back on it.’

The drama teacher only recently arrived in Australia when she met Mr Tostee last year and was originally unaware of his past.

She finally learned about his case after sending a selfie of them together to a friend and was left ‘stunned’.

‘She said, ‘ah, that’s the balcony guy,’ Ms Collins recalled.

‘And then I just thought, me being me, I’ll just ask him some more questions and you know, just get to know his side of the story.’

Ms Collins recently opened up about her ordeal by mashing some of the savage voicemail messages – where a woman tells her to ‘neck herself – into a disturbing YouTube clip called ‘Trolling Horror Story’.

Despite her shock when she discovered his legal history, Ms Collins recently told the Gold Coast Bulletin the pair became ‘friends’.

But the relationship soured around Christmas when she was contacted by an alleged friend of Tostee’s who left menacing voicemail messages.

The abusive messages called her a ‘f**king disgusting psycho bitch’, a ‘pathetic cow’, an ‘obsessed loser’ and accused her of being on meth.

One ended: ‘Have a nice life, f**king psycho, feel free to neck yourself.’

The unnamed woman added: ‘You are no one to him and that’s exactly why he blocked your psycho f**ken a**e,’

Ms Collins said she had got into an argument with the woman and called in police over the messages, but the fight continued online with Mr Tostee himself.

‘If you don’t cease this, I and [his female friend] will pursue criminal charges. At the very least I’ll report your actions to dept of education. I do not care about you, I am not interested, never will be. It’s weird and creepy,’ he told her.

Mr Tostee responded to the latest controversy by releasing the texts of his recent correspondence with Ms Collins to the media.

He added: ‘I’ve made it clear to her I do not want to deal with her and have told her to quit obsessing over me.’

Gable Tostee started using the name Eric Thomas on Tinder, Facebook and Instagram after his 2016 trial.

On New Year’s Day last year, a Tinder date frantically called police fearing for her safety at a home in Brisbane when the 28-year-old woman discovered his past.

In April, police were again called when another Tinder date threatened to throw herself from their 10th floor hotel room at Surfers Paradise.

A senior police officer at the time said there was no suggestion Tostee had done anything wrong. He added: ‘He just happened to be present when the incident occurred.’

He was also embroiled in another online flame war, this time with a Pilates studio, in May after its owner told him to ‘get off Bumble and Tinder, you f**k’.

Mr Tostee and his friends responded by flooding her business with bad reviews.

‘Pro tip: if you’re going to send someone deranged abuse because of some delusion in your mind, don’t make your business name and details public for everyone to see,’ he bragged at the time.

He later added on Facebook: ‘What a dream it would be to live my life in peace.’

Mr Tostee now uses his Eric Thomas Facebook account to comment frequently on the coronavirus pandemic and transgender New Zealander weightlifter Laurel Hubbard.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Ms Collins and Mr Tostee for further comment.
