Real Housewives of Atlanta star Eva Marcille has filed for divorce from Michael Sterling amid ‘irretrievably broken’ marriage

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Eva Marcille has filed for divorce from husband Michael Sterling after more than four years of marriage.

The Los Angeles native, 38, told the court last week that her marriage to the lawyer is ‘irretrievably broken,’ Page Six reported Tuesday after reviewing docs in the case.

The America’s Next Top Model alum said in court docs that ‘there are no prospects for a reconciliation,’ as she’s requesting primary custody of her children with Sterling and child support.

The estranged couple exchanged vows in October in 2018 and have had two children – sons Michael, four, and Maverick, three.

Marcille is mother to nine-year-old daughter Marley with singer Kevin McCall. Sterling has been raising the child and she has been using his last name the past three years, Page Six reported.

Sterling made clear in legal docs that she and Sterling are separated at this time, TMZ reported.

Marcille said in court docs that she should have ultimate decision-making power over issues related to the children as their primary caregiver, the outlet reported.

Sterling should provide for medical and dental expenses for the children, Marcille told the court.

Marcille said in court docs that she was seeking an equal split of assets and debts during the span of the marriage, the outlet reported.

Marcille and Sterling initially became engaged in 2017 on Christmas Day.

The parting of the couple comes as a bit of a shock, as Marcille took to Instagram last month on Valentine’s Day with a pair of pictures of the couple and a clip of them dancing.

‘Happy Valentine’s Day forever and ever @miketsterling#US,’ she said.

Sterling called Marcille his ‘forever Valentine’ in a post, adding, ‘My forever Valentine. I am so in love with you that there isn’t anything else. Happy St. Valentine’s Day.’
