Real Madrid ‘didn’t seem at it’ against Tottenham Hotspur in their Champions League defeat, according to Roy Keane.

Zinedine Zidane’s men turned in a poor performance as they were beaten 3-1 at Wembley, leaving them likely to finish second behind Spurs in Group H.

Although Keane praised Tottenham’s display, he was also critical of Real’s body language and their effort without the ball in London.

Speaking on ITV, Keane said: ‘Real didn’t seem at it with their body language. Of course they always have the quality to hurt you, but without the ball they were shocking in terms of closing down, in decision making from world class players.

‘You still have to take advantage of that, you’ve got to go out and still do the business, and we don’t want to take anything away from Tottenham, but Madrid don’t look themselves.’

Dele Alli scored twice for Tottenham, before Christian Eriksen’s goal following a counter attack sealed a near-perfect evening for the hosts.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a consolation goal, however Real now sit three points off the English side in the pool.
