Rebecca Judd’s startling warning to the government after yet another home invasion in her ritzy Brighton neighbourhood

Rebecca Judd has once again fired up at Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan following another terrifying crime spree in her affluent suburb.

The latest frightening incident occurred early Tuesday morning when thieves stole two cars from the home of high profile defence lawyer Dermot Dann in the exclusive  bayside suburb of Brighton in Melbourne’s south-east.

The thieves allegedly attempted to run over startled residents who tried to intervene and stop the crime spree.

Angered by the brazen theft, the former AFL WAG continued her one-woman crime blitz on the Allan government on Tuesday when she shared a post by Brighton MP James Newbury slamming the latest incident.

‘These people are fighting back because (Jacinta Allan) has given them no choice. Protect thy neighbour,’ Judd fumed in a Instagram post.

She lives in a $7.3million mansion in Brighton with her husband, former AFL premiership star Chris Judd and their four children.

The Herald Sun reported a group of at least five people arrived in the suburb in stolen cars before attempting to smash their way into several homes at around 6am.

They broke into an Audi and a Lexus SUV belonging to Mr Dann and his family.

Mr Dann’s clients include missing campers murderer Greg Lynn and former St Kilda AFL star turned drug trafficker Sam Fisher.

Neighbours heard the disturbing commotion and raced outside brandishing items to defend themselves before they were allegedly almost run over by the stolen cars speeding off.

Police found the stolen Audi dumped in a nearby street not long after the break in.

A 14-year-old girl was arrested nearby but the other offenders fled the scene on foot.

No one was injured during the incident.

Judd has persistently called on the Victorian government to do more to tackle youth crime in Melbourne.

In August, Judd cautiously welcomed Premier Allan’s plans to overhaul the state’s bail laws as Melbourne’s youth crime crisis escalates.

This is a start,’ she told her 750,000 Instagram followers.

She pointed out that ‘three innocent lives’ had allegedly been lost to ‘out of control teens’ in the last 12 months.

‘Never have Victorians felt so unsafe in their own homes. Violent, repeat offenders must be off the streets. Let’s see how these changes go,’ she added.

Also in August, Judd expressed her anger that one of the youths allegedly involved in the kidnapping of Melbourne teenager Benjamin Phikhohpoom that left him with permanent brain damage had walked free despite pleading guilty.

‘Victoria, this is not OK but sadly just another case of a violent offender let off because our laws are weak,’ Judd wrote on social media.

In March this year Judd again unleashed on the Premier after a home invasion in her suburn left an elderly man fighting for his life.

‘Just another night in Victoria (yes, this is Bayside again but we know this happens everywhere),’ Judd told her Instagram followers.

‘Jacinta Allan how are you still avoiding this? Let’s see how many of the alleged offenders are out on bail… Thoughts are with the victim in ICU and his poor wife.’

In April Judd was enraged after multiple headlines reported that child offenders had been released on bail in Victoria and took to Instagram Stories to blast the Victorian government.

‘And so it goes on… and on…’, she wrote next to the news headlines.

Following reports of another home invasion in the upmarket suburb of Beaumaris that left the victim in hospital, Judd wrote , ‘And another… So sorry for the victim. I know it’s typical to say this but the system is well and truly obliterated.’
