Rebecca Judd’s surprising $11 Brownlow Medal accessory

She’s the AFL WAG known for her haute couture fashion.

But Rebecca Judd proved she’s just like the rest of us on Monday, when she arrived at the Brownlow Medal ceremony in Melbourne wearing a budget hair accessory.

The 35-year-old paired her stunning purple J’Aton frock with a large, metallic double bar slide from Lady Jayne that retails for just $11.

Who would have guessed?! Rebecca Judd, 35, revealed the VERY surprising $11 accessory that was part of her glamorous Brownlow Medal ensemble in Melbourne on Monday night

Rebecca stunned on the red carpet in her long-time favourite label, J’Aton Couture.

The floor-length ensemble featured a fitted bodice before expanding into embroidered flare with intricate detail.

Rebecca added decadent touches of bling in the form of jewels by Paul Bram and styled her brunette locks in soft waves, framing a glamorous makeup palette.

However the mother-of-four proved she’s just like the rest of us and is in favour of an inexpensive hair accessory.

Rebecca pinned back one section of her tresses with a large silver metallic double bar slide from Lady Jayne, retailing for $11.49.

While she may count J’Aton Couture as one of her go-to designers, Rebecca relies on moderately-priced online fashion brand Next for her day-to-day attire.

The Melbourne-based star, who is also a co-founder of athleisure brand JAGGAD, told Nine’s HoneyStyle in June the one item every woman should have in their wardrobe.

‘A tailored jacket can take you a long way with tailoring [or] elevating any look. Whether it be adding a tailored jacket to jeans during the day or throwing it on in the evening on top of a dress, it can transform a simple look to a polished one,’ she said.

Rebecca also revealed that when it comes to her style evolution, she’s now opting to pare back looks.

‘My style has definitely evolved over the years. I think we all go through that stage of trying some ‘out there’ styles, but now I’m really drawn to pared back looks,’ she explained.

‘I definitely believe less is more – except for when you’re on the red carpet!’ Rebecca added.
