The AFL Footy Show recently faced rumours that it might soon be cancelled, after it was smashed in the ratings by The Front Bar.
And now the Channel Nine sports show, has been dealt another blow, with The Sun Herald reporting that Rebecca Maddern won’t return for the new season.
The paper added that the program is, ‘expected to undergo a major makeover during the off-season.’

The 41-year-old will be taking over a portion of Nine’s tennis coverage, along with her hosting role on Australian Ninja Warrior.
Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Channel Nine for comment.
With the Ninja themed sports show set to move to Melbourne next year, the host’s move makes sense.
It comes after news that the AFL show, also hosted by Eddie McGuire and Sam Newman, was suffering in the ratings.

The couple turned to IVF, but Rebecca claimed it was an ‘extremely difficult’ and ultimately unsuccessful process.
She added: ‘I had failed IVF attempts one after the other. That was extremely, extremely difficult.’
Fortunately for Rebecca and Trent, they managed to conceive naturally, with Rebecca admitting they were ‘very, very lucky’ to be able to have children.
