Rebekah Vardy leads the WAGs cheering on the England team to their victory against Panama

As England secured a historic 6-1 victory over Panama this afternoon, nobody was more delighted than the supportive wives and partners who have travelled to Russia to cheer on the players.

There were jubilant scenes in the stands as goal after goal hit the back of the net, with Rebekah Vardy leading the celebrations – despite her husband Jamie not starting the game, only coming on for the last 15 minutes of the match.

The mother-of-four couldn’t hide her delight during the match, jumping to her feet to celebrate the goal-fest with fellow wives and girlfriends.

Rebekah Vardy, 37, who turned out in a red England shirt and denim shorts, flashed a wide smile as she cheered her husband on from the crowds.

Annabel also made sure to wear her England shirt, which she teamed with a denim skirt, as she watched the action on the pitch during England’s second group game at the World Cup.

Striking brunette Fern Hawkins, who has been dating Leicester defender Harry Maguire for six years, was also ecstatic over the win and tweeted shortly after the victory: ‘It’s coming home’.

John Stones’ long-term partner Millie Savage was also there to watch as the defender managed to net two goals during the match.
