Reddit has been hit with an outage that is plaguing thousands of users across the US. Issues, which hit around 10am ET, are impacting the app and website
DownDetector, a site that monitors online outages, shows issues appeared just before 10am, but saw a massive spike about 30 minutes later.
The website’s Live Outage Map shows New York, Seattle and Los Angeles in ‘the red,’ with other major cities experiencing issues.
Approximately 66 percent of problems reported to DownDetector cited the app, 29 percent listed the website and a small six percent reported issues with server connection.
Redditors have shared their frustrations on X, posting that they are seeing a blank screen in the app.
