Reese Witherspoon leads the stars at The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment Breakfast Gala

They’re separated by 23 years of age, but they could pass for sisters.

And lookalike mother and daughter Reese Witherspoon and Ava Phillippe were just a couple of the stars on show at The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment Breakfast Gala on Wednesday.

The A-list industry event was held at Milk Studios in Hollywood, California, with Charlize Theron, Eva Longoria, Olivia Wilde, Kerry Washington and Ronan Farrow just a sample of the other luminaries strutting their stuff on the red carpet.

Reese epitomized class in a navy blue suit dressed with a plunging neckline and pleated skirt.

The Academy Award-winning screen beauty sparkled in the gorgeous garment’s gold buttons, and wore her iconic blonde tresses straight and with a left-of-center part.

The daughter she shares with ex Ryan Phillippe meanwhile also wore her slightly longer and wavier blonde locks loose for her red carpet turn.

Ava showed off her glorious curves in a floral pattern red and gold dress, worn with a pair of simple black heels.

Also at the event was Reese’s son Deacon, 16, and her new husband, talent agent Jim Toth.

Also hitting the red carpet was Reese’s fellow Oscar winning thespian Charlize Theron, who dazzled in a lilac suit worn over a black blouse. 

The actress wore her platinum blonde tresses in a pixie do with an off-center part and with minimal makeup.

She kept her accessories to a minimum, wearing just simple gold sleeper earrings in her lobes.
