Hiding your roots

Ms Elasmar also uses her trusty blender to cover up unwanted roots in between dyes.

The wider base area of the beauty blender should be used for hair touch ups, according to Ms Elasmar.

Mani-magic

Before throwing out your much-used beautyblender in favour of a spongy replacement, consider some unusual tricks it could come in handy for – like upping your manicure game.

‘After painting your nails, use the pointed end at a 45-degree angle with a contrasting nail polish shade to add a pop of colour to the tip of your nails,’ Ms Elasmar said.
