Residents in Ireland have been showing off their dance moves while making sure to keep up their social distancing.

Footage taken recently shows a group outside flats in Canon Mooney Gardens in Dublin dancing to Saturday Night by Whigfield.

However they still manage to keep their social distancing rules up as they all stay two metres apart for the show.

The routine begins with clapping before they branch out into a series of cheesy pop moves.

Many people can be seen standing out on their balconies to watch the spectacle unfold.

Lots of communities across the UK have been taking part in exercise classes and dance classes in the streets as a way to get through the lockdown imposed by the government.

All different types of people can be seen involved in this dance class, including young children who congregate at the front. 

Many were quick to comment on the video that was uploaded online.

One said: ‘Great spirit in people’ while another commented ‘You’ve no idea how much I want to do this right now.’
