Residents in Western Australia and South Australia have been rattled by overnight earthquakes.
A 4.3 magnitude earthquake shook through the suburb of Norseman, which is in the Goldfields region of south Western Australia at 12.19am.
Only hours earlier, another earthquake rocked Adelaide, with residents reporting thunderous sounds and tremors.
Geoscience Australia said that earthquake’s epicentre was near Mannum, about 85km east of Adelaide.

Residents of Kambalda, more than 120km away from the epicentre of the 4.3 magnitude quake, also reported that they felt tremors which woke them up
The epicentre of the WA quake was the suburb of Norseman, about 720km east of Perth.
Though residents in Kambalda, more than 120km away, said they also felt shaking.
Some Kambalda locals took to their community Facebook noticeboard to ask others if they had also felt tremors.
‘My windows were shaking it went for [quite] a bit woke us up,’ one resident said.
‘My windows shook in east for a good few seconds,’ said another.
No major damage or injuries have been reported as of yet, and authorities have dismissed the threat of tsunami since the epicentre was so far inland.

Residents reported ‘windows were rattling’ and there was ‘a loud rumble’ as a result of the earthquake
Residents took to Twitter to describe the moment the quake hit.
‘Ooh! Just felt a small earthquake in Adelaide. The whole house shook and there was a loud rumble,’ one posted.
Another said: ‘3.2 magnitude earthquake in Mannum, South Australia… felt all through Adelaide… house rattled and a bit of a bang’.
The earthquake was felt across several suburbs, the Adelaide Hills and as far afield as the Barossa Valley.
‘Rattled windows and furniture at Mt Osmond. Floor vibrated a bit’, one Twitter post said, while another said: ‘In Greenwith… windows were rattling and house rumbling’.
No significant damage or injuries have been reported.
