The jaw-dropping starting salary WWE main roster stars will earn has been revealed.

WWE is the largest wrestling promotion across the world with a host of top stars including Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns and Rhea Ripley.

The product, after their successful Royal Rumble show at the start of the month, has been at the hottest it has been for a number of years.

Now, ahead of an action-packed 2025, the reported salary for WWE’s main roster talents have been revealed.

While the top stars will likely be on much higher salaries, the Fightful has revealed that the minimum a WWE star earns in a year is $350,000 (£275,000).

This sees an increase of 40 per cent from the previously reported salaries three years ago, as the company continues to go from strength to strength.

Triple H, real name Paul Levesque, revealed that three years ago WWE’s stars – from both Smackdown and Raw, earned a minimum of $250,000 (£198,000).

The news comes amid a busy time in the wrestling calendar, with the Royal Rumble just finishing and the highly-anticipated Elimination Chamber on March 1st.

Meanwhile, WrestleMania 41 rolls into Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 19 and April 20.

There are already two confirmed matches for the showpiece event – with Jey Uso set to challenge Gunther for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Elsewhere, Charlotte Fiair will face Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship.

Meanwhile, last month, one WWE star blasted bosses after he was essentially demoted for not being ‘famous enough’.

Commentary on WWE’s top shows has been a top topic for a long time, with teams on both RAW and SmackDown often moved around in the search to find a strong balance on the microphone.

Corey Graves has worked his way up in the company and was even briefly working as a play-by-play lead commentator before being taking up the role of a colour broadcaster once again.

The 40-year-old, who was formerly a wrestler but forced to retire in 2014 due to concussion issues, ventured into broadcasting and worked with the likes of Michael Cole and Pat McAfee on the main roster.

Ahead of the company’s Netflix premiere last week, however, Graves was taken off the main roster and appeared back on NXT – which is seen as the company’s developmental brand. It has now also been reported that he will not be on NXT on Tuesday night.

And he didn’t appear to take the move well. Taking to X, he launched what appeared to be a rant at company bosses on the back of the decision.

‘Imagine chasing your dream. Then being TOLD (not deciding) that you’re no longer physically able to pursue your dream,’ he wrote. ‘Then you dedicate your life to something “dream adjacent” and being pretty f***iing awesome at it.

‘And then, when it’s time to enjoy the fruits of your labor, being told you’re not famous enough for your own job. Just in case you’ve wondered where I’ve been.’
