RHCP: Flea chats to bikini-clad women at Bondi Beach, Sydney

Red Hot Chilli Peppers bassist Flea proved he’s still a hit with the ladies on Monday as he chatted with some young women at Sydney’s Bondi Beach.

The 60-year-old musician, whose real name is Michael Balzary, laid on the charm when two bikini-clad beachgoers approached him as he set up a spot on the sand.

The pair couldn’t believe their luck after seeing the rock legend enjoying a day out in the sun, with one woman playing with her hair flirtatiously while speaking to him. 

Flea clearly didn’t plan ahead as he forgot his boardshorts and went for a swim in his Calvin Klein underpants instead. 

The four-string maestro showed off his numerous tattoos and sported a bright purple hairstyle and gold chain.

When the women finished speaking to him, Flea went to lie on the sand with a friend.

It wasn’t long before another woman approached the rock star, who is married to American fashion designer Melody Ehsani.

After taking a dip in the water, a young mother sidled up for a chat with Flea and he even offered to hold her baby for a moment.

After an eventful day out at the beach, Flea gathered his clothes under one arm and threw his towel over his shoulder as he walked back to the car park.

Flea was born in Melbourne but was moved to New York at the age of four after his father Mick Balzary accepted a job there.

He remained in America even after his parents split and his father moved back to Australia. 

Over the years he has made frequent visits Down Under and even owned property in his home country.

His $3million beachside property in Moruya, on the NSW south coast, hit the market earlier this month, almost 30 years after he bought it. 

Flea purchased the property in 1994 and his band Red Hot Chilli Peppers used it to write some of their best-selling songs.

The five-bedroom, two-storey home is located just minutes away from Congo beach and went to auction with a price guide of $3million.
