RHOC star Shannon Beador shows off her trim new figure and hew new man on Watch What Happens Live

Shannon Beador brought her new man to the set of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Tuesday night, celebrating the resurgence of her love life in the wake of her April divorce settlement with ex David Beador.

Shannon, who also revealed she lost 40 lbs. on the premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County earlier that evening, smiled as she garnered compliments from the host and fellow interviewee, actor Jerry O’Connell.

‘I kept yo-yoing back and forth,’ the 55-year-old said about her remarkable weight loss. ‘Finally I said, ‘You’ve lost half of it, you need to commit.’

It was all down to diet and exercise, she vowed.

‘The hardest work was changing [my] insides—getting to that mental place where I know I’m going to be okay,’ Shannon said on the premiere. ‘The weight was just, kind of, a lot easier.’

Andy happily introduced Shannon’s new man, John, who sat in the audience. They had met through mutual friends, she said, and had both gone to college at USC.

The host admitted he gave John ‘the third degree’ before taping the night’s show, and Shannon said she had to walk away while he was doing it.

Even after that, he said, he vetted the man with Shannon’s co-star Tamra Judge, 51, before they went on the air.

‘I texted Tamra,’ Andy confessed. ‘I go, ‘I really like this guy,’ and she goes, ‘Isn’t he great?’ ‘Cause I was like, ‘Oh, Tamra will tell me the truth.’

When a caller asked about Shannon’s relationship with her ex and his new girlfriend, she said that the divorce had been finalized and they split custody of the kids 50/50.

‘You always want to put the good intention out there and have this friendly relationship,’ Shannon elaborated. ‘That didn’t work out with me. That being said, we’re trying to co-parent the best we can.’

She had never met David’s girlfriend, she admitted.

‘I would like to send the crew when you do,’ Andy offered.

Asked by a caller if she had made up with Tamra, whom she said ‘called her too much’ on a past reunion show, Shannon said, ‘Absolutely. I think we came to a resolution there that day. She’s like a sister to me. We’re like family.’

As the show opened, Andy mentioned that after the premiere aired, Tamra and her RHOOC castmate, Kelly Dodd, had been taking jabs at each other on Twitter.

Kelly said Tamra’s new home was located in ‘the sticks,’ not a rich neighborhood, as she alleged on the premiere.

Tamra asked how many homes she owned, noting that she bought her own. ‘I don’t date old men for money,’ she added.

In a preview of next week’s RHOOC, Tamra and Shannon were shown coaching Vicki Gunvalson on ways to reconcile with frenemy Kelly at a house party.

He confessed that he had recently shown the film to his twin 10-year-old daughters Charlie and Dolly, whom he said were of the ‘YouTube generation.’

Andy showed footage of Jerry at Denise Richards’ wedding on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which Jerry excitedly referred to as ‘my royal wedding.’

In the game ‘Do You Know Your ABOCs?’ Shannon and Jerry were charged with answering RHOOC trivia questions by throwing a plate on the ground and shouting, ‘This isn’t my plate’—an infamous line of Shannon’s.

They tied, with a score of 2 to 2.
