RHONJ alum Caroline Manzo looks and feels great after ‘life-changing’ face lift and 20lb weight loss

The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Caroline Manzo unveiled her new look this week after undergoing a ‘life-changing’ face lift and 20lb weight loss.

The Brooklyn-born 57-year-old decided on the makeover around New Year’s Eve when she was ‘probably the heaviest’ she’d ever been while caring for granddaughter Marchesa three days a week.

‘My world just started getting smaller because it was the baby and the house every day,’ Caroline confessed on the April 2 episode of her son’s podcast Dear Albie.

‘I woke up and I decided that I was spiraling and going to a bad headspace, and I can’t do that for a multitude of reasons, it’s not good for me, it’s not good for the family, and the first thing I started to take control of was my weight.’

Manzo (born Laurita) is ‘basically a vegetarian now’ after cutting carbs, meats, and soda from her diet but the resulting slim down left her with a hanging ‘turkey neck.’

That’s when the Friendly Monkey Soap owner returned to the same plastic surgeon who performed her tummy tuck nearly 18 years ago – Dr. Robert Zubowski.

‘Since having it done, and this coincides with the weight loss, my whole entire outlook on life has changed,’ Caroline gushed.

‘I could cry thinking about it. It really, for me, brought my headspace to a whole different place.’

Manzo teamed up with The Shahs of Sunset’s Reza Farahan to co-host a ‘fast-paced morning show’ called The Balancing Act Celebrity Edition, which premieres May 20 on Lifetime.

The Let Me Tell You Something author first found fame on the Bravo reality show from 2009-2013 before starring in her own spin-off Manzo’d with Children from 2014-2016.

‘You come back to me and give me a reasonable compensation, a reasonable position. I am nobody’s “friend of Housewife,”‘ Caroline said of returning to RHONJ.

‘I’m not thirsty and I told [producers] this. [My husband Albert and I] live a very happy, comfortable life, we’ve gotten used to being off television…

‘So either I come back full-blown Caroline Manzo, “Housewife of New Jersey” and you pay me, or I stay home and I watch you.’
