RHONJ star Jacqueline Laurita lists house for $2.3million

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jacqueline Laurita is selling her mansion for $2.3million under threats of foreclosure. The home has six bedrooms and five and a half baths

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jacqueline Laurita has listed her mansion for sale at $2.3million as she faces threats of foreclosure.

Jacqueline, 47, and her husband Chris first tried to sell the house in 2014 for $2.85million, telling the show’s viewers they’d been having financial problems because of their son’s costly therapy for autism.

They didn’t mention the long-running lawsuit over Chris’s business bankruptcy, where the couple is accused of using company funds for personal use to fund a lavish lifestyle.

Jacqueline was an original RHONJ cast member but will not be returning to the Bravo show for its upcoming eighth season, claiming the network said she no longer ‘has an authentic connection with two of the season’s cast members’.

The reality star was not a part of season six of the show, but returned in season seven to tangle with frenemy Teresa Giudice, who also faced foreclosure on one of her New Jersey homes.

Jacqueline and Chris first bought the custom-built home in 2001 for $1.72million. The home has six bedrooms and five and a half baths.

In 2015, lenders initiated foreclosure against the couple, saying they had not made their $10,846 monthly payments since 2014.

The foreclosure was dismissed in 2016, which coincided with Jacqueline’s return to a full-time star on the show.

In July banks initiated foreclosure proceedings against the couple, who then relisted their house this week.

The Franklin Lakes home sits on a 1.75 acre lot and is described as ‘freshly renovated.’ The two-story house was featured heavily on Real Housewives, but that doesn’t seem to help it sell.
