RHONY’s Leah McSweeney Reveals she has Covid in a birthday post to her ex

Leah McSweeney is not having the best holiday season.

In a birthday Instagram post dedicated to her ex-boyfriend, Rob Cristofaro, The Real Housewives of New York star, 39, revealed she is battling Covid and is currently in quarantine.

‘Sorry I ruined our Jamaican Christmas by catching the rona,’ McSweeney wrote.

The fashion designer took a funny jab at her ex but quickly followed it up with a compliment. ‘Sometimes I want to choke you (like this past week) but most of the time I’m just super grateful for you,’ she wrote.

McSweeney continued her post by apologizing for catching the virus. ‘Sorry I ruined our Jamaican Christmas by catching the rona. There is always next year!! And when I’m out of quarantine I’ll bake you a cake.’

There is no love lost between the two ex’s, who share 14-year-old daughter Kier Marie, as the reality TV star finished her post with a loving tribute, writing, ‘Happy Birthday old man!!! Love ya!!’

McSweeney, who has starred on the reality television series The Real Housewives of New York City since 2020, has previously spoken about her close relationship with her baby daddy.

In a 2020 Instagram post, she wrote, ‘One thing for certain is we have each other’s backs. Even through our ups and downs.’

She also explained her complicated relationship with her ex in one of her confessionals.

‘Rob is my baby daddy. It’s really hard for people to understand me and Rob’s relationship because it’s so unique. We’re basically like an amazing married couple that doesn’t live in the same house and doesn’t have sex,’ she said.

McSweeney gave birth to her and Cristofaro’s daughter in 2007 and the two have been peacefully co-parenting ever since.
