Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Richard for comment.

The father-of-three was also allegedly overheard by the Uber driver accusing Georgie of ‘sitting on the fence’ and needing to ‘step up’ if she ‘wanted to stay on the show.’
Karl and Peter also allegedly spoke about Nine News and Current Affairs head honcho Darren Wick, Today’s Mark Calvert and 60 Minutes’ Kirsty Thomson during their chat, which took place when Peter was in an Uber and speaking to his brother Karl on loudspeaker.
Explaining how he overheard the conversation, the Uber driver told New Idea: ‘It was Pete and his wife Sylvia (Jeffreys) who jumped into my cab late one night. He called Karl and told him he was in a cab and that he was on speakerphone so they were all aware I was there and could hear everything.’

Karl and Peter have since offered their apologies in a statement published in The Sunday Telegraph.
‘We are sorry. I was angry with myself at first that I could be so stupid,’ said Karl over the weekend, before adding that Georgie was ‘the best thing to happen to the show in years.’
