Ronaldo previously issued a statement that he felt Neymar should remain involved in the Brazil national side, despite the PSG star raising doubts about his future on the international stage.

Richarlison debuted his new ink on Instagram, sharing footage from artist @dom.tattoo, who implemented the design. He is popular with Brazil’s Premier League stars, with Antony, Bruno Guimaraes and Fabio Vieira among those who have got previous designs by Dom Tattoo.

It also features a child overlooking a favela wearing a Richarlison jersey and a baseball cap.

Tottenham Hotspur are set to be without World Cup star Richarlison for ‘at least a month’

Richarlison got his first tattoo in 2020, and has amassed a growing collection across the past three years.

The 25-year-old former Everton and Watford star has returned to Tottenham ahead of the restart of the domestic season.

However, he is out for at least a month following a hamstring injury sustained at the World Cup, according to the latest reports.

Richarlison played through the pain after being injured in the warm-up against Croatia, featuring for 84 minutes of their quarter-final at the Education City Stadium before being replaced by Pedro.

Pedro scored his penalty, but Rodrygo and Marquinhos missed their attempts from 12 yards. This saw Brazil crash out with a 4-2 defeat on penalties as Croatia were 100% accurate with their spot-kicks.

However, Tuesday saw the end of the European side’s run to the final, when they were halted by a rampant Argentina, who beat them 3-0 courtesy of a  Julian Alvarez brace and a Lionel Messi penalty.

Spurs return to competitive action when they visit London rivals Brentford on Boxing Day, ahead of further Premier League matches against Aston Villa and Crystal Palace in the first week of 2023.
