Rick Astley appeared on BBC Breakfast in his pyjamas for an interview on Wednesday and vowed to do the same for his gig at Glastonbury Festival 2023.
The singer, 57, will open the Pyramid Stage on the Saturday for the first time alongside the likes of Guns N’ Roses, Lizzo and Lewis Capaldi.
In the interview he said: ‘I get to play on the Pyramid Stage which is absolutely bonkers to be honest.’
‘It’ll be very early on the Saturday, maybe a bit too early but there you go. I’m still in my pyjamas now so I might do it in my pyjamas to be honest.’
It wasn’t until presenter Sally Nugent asked if he was in his pyjamas, viewers realised his outfit choice.

As well as Rick performing at Glastonbury, a surprise guest, who goes by the artist name of the ChurnUps has been added to the Pyramid lineup,
According to the Guardian, they have no online footprint and fans are convinced the name is really a secret world-famous act.

While organisers have remained tight-lipped about their identity, they are taking on a coveted slot on Friday night but fans are convinced the band could be Pulp.
The entire lineup, including timings and stages, is available to view on the Glastonbury website.
The festival – which takes place from June 21-25 at Somerset’s Worthy Farm, will see the likes of Queens Of The Stone Age, Skepta and The Chemical Brothers joining the already confirmed headline acts.
Other new confirmed acts include Royal Blood, Caroline Polachek and Digga D, as the entire line-up has now been announced.
Rock duo Royal Blood will play before Arctic Monkeys on Friday.
