Rita told host Jonathan: ‘I hosted it back in 2017 but now I’m hosting it again but this time Jonathan I’m co-hosting it with Taika, my partner.

‘We’ve never worked together before. It’s nice to be able to do something fun with my favourite person. We’re the same person. It’s nice to find someone that you can have fun with, work with, respect and respect each other’s work.’

Ahead of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’s launch this Sunday on ITV, Jonathan quizzed Rita on whether she’d ever take part.

Rita said: ‘I don’t know. There is a lot I like to have around me. I like to have my diffuser around me, my candles. I don’t know, it seems like a lot for me. I love watching it but it takes a lot of balls and you’ve got to eat them too!’

Speaking about one of her musical inspirations, Rita said: ‘My dad always played so many vinyls around the house. Prince was a massive guy for us. I was really lucky to be able to work with him. I was living in Paisley Park, not inside, I stayed at the bed and breakfast next door. We used to take bikes all around Paisley Park. It was amazing for me to be on this bike ride with him.

‘We hung out a lot. We were always making music. He was the man of the town. I’m very, very lucky. It was one of the best experiences of my life.’

Later, Rita talks about being born in Kosovo and coming to the UK with her family. She said: ‘We all moved to London, it was the best thing my parents could ever do. My parents brought us over here and they started from scratch. They got jobs and built their way up.’

She added: ‘It wasn’t easy but we had love all around. We grew up in council estates and now I’m really lucky that I’m able to repay them for all the hard work that they’ve done.’

Rita then reveals she is working on a project with Louis Theroux. She says: ‘I did this documentary with Louis Theroux. I’ve been asked so many times to do things about my story, journey and how I started in the music industry.’

She continued: ‘I wanted to show my side of things and be completely honest and open the door to my family, and what it takes for a woman in the music industry.’

Speaking about her grandfather who was a movie director, Rita said: ‘He passed away pretty young but he was so amazing. He would tell us all these stories and he really made me believe this dream I had was a reality. I think he was the main guy who gave me that confidence for creativity.’

Rita explained: 'We've never worked together before. It's nice to be able to do something fun with my favourite person.'

Jonathan then chatted to Luke Evans about his career as both an actor and singer. Ahead of the release of his new album A Song For You, Luke said: ‘Singing is actually my first love. I was singing way before I was doing any acting. Now I’m just about to launch my second album.’

Asked by Jonathan if he could choose between acting and singing, Luke says: ‘Both of them are my career – I love them both. It probably would be the singing. Singing is just me. It’s just me and my voice. It’s a very honest, real and authentic thing.’

Speaking about dueting with Charlotte Church, Luke said: ‘Charlotte Church – voice of an angel. I’ve known that girl since she was 10 years old and I was 16. I used to pay for my own singing lessons and I used to go to this little terraced house. I’d walk up this street and here this sound and this voice and this tiny thing would walk out and it was Charlotte Church.’

Rita was sat beside Luke Evans who responds to rumours that he will be the next James Bond. On whether he is in the running to play 007, Luke says: 'I don't know. You know as much as I do. It's probably the best kept secret in the industry.'

Revealing children’s reactions to him since he played Gaston in Beauty and the Beast, Luke said: ‘They’re either mesmerised or they’re absolutely terrified and they run the opposite way.’

On his new series Echo 3, Luke says: ‘It’s a huge sweeping geo-political thriller. I’m a delta force special operative in the US army. It’s very much based on these human beings and what they’ll do for love.’

Speaking about his role as an ambassador for The Prince’s Trust, Luke revealed: ‘I’ve been fortunate to have been part of a Trust that has done good things. I’ve seen the product of the success of what the trust does for young people around the United Kingdom and internationally. I’ve met His Majesty many times and he is a charming man.’

Recounting his first experience of meeting His Majesty The King, Luke says: ‘I remember the first time I spoke to him, I was super nervous. I had just finished filming Dracula Untold which I played Vlad Țepeș. He came up to me and said ‘What are you working on at the moment?’ and I said ‘I’ve just finished a movie about Vlad Țepeș who turns into Dracula.’ And he went ‘Funnily enough, I’m related to Vlad Țepeș.’ I thought he was joking! He went through his lineage to Vlad.’

Quizzed by Jonathan on whether he has been in talks, Luke says: ‘Maybe. I don’t know. Who knows? What is lovely is that 15 years ago I was on the West End stage and no one knew who I was. 15 years later I’m in the small group of actors from the British industry and one of those that they talk about! If that’s all it is, I’ve had a wonderful journey.’
