Rita Ora appears to have undergone a dramatic hair transformation after she was snapped with a head full of foils at a Bondi salon.

The Hot Right Now singer, 34, has had several hairstyles since she shot to fame over a decade ago but has most recently been a brunette.  

Ahead of the hair appointment, she wore her hair in curls that were pulled back as she was snapped making her way to Koda Cutters Hair Salon in New South Wales, Australia. 

Upon closer inspection, the star’s hair appeared to be turning blonde once again beneath the foils, but she has yet to unveil the new look. 

Koda Cutters describes itself as the area’s leading hair salon and prides itself on giving a tailored experience to every client. 

Rita’s appearance at the salon comes in the wake of the star giving a rare insight into her marriage to film director, Taika Waititi, 49.

Rita told Hunger magazine: ‘Taika and I are basically just best friends and we wanted to just live in that element for ever, I guess.’

Reflecting on her past relationships, the star admits that she had to make peace with herself before she could find true love. 

She began dating the film director in 2021, but they were friends for several years prior to this. 

The couple, who live in LA, went on to get married a year later.  

Rita said: ‘My love life has been colourful, to say the least. But how wicked is it that we can make those choices for ourselves?.

‘I was groggy all the time [during her twenties]. I wanted to feel awake and that my brain was switched on.

‘What makes me go ‘urgh’ is when people pour so much responsibility into somebody else to make themselves feel how they want to feel.

‘That’s a disaster, a car crash. You’ll always be unsatisfied, I was that person.’

The singer also credited Taika and his role in inspiring her latest album, On You & I.

She said: ‘I felt like it was really necessary to be an open book… 

‘I wanted to introduce people to where I’m at in my life now – like a diary’.

‘I think music is all about being as honest as you can be… 

All you can do is be yourself and hope that there’s somebody out there who can connect or relate…’

On You & I was released in July 2023, marking the singer’s first solo album since 2018’s Phoenix.
