Sibling rivalry! Robert Irwin ‘green with envy’ as his sister Bindi scores a Hollywood role in Marvel TV series: ‘It was a rude shock’
They are best friends, co-workers and confidants, who spend most of their free time together.
But Robert Irwin is reportedly green with envy after his sister Bindi scored a coveted role in a Hollywood TV series.
The 18-year-old is said to be desperate to become a Hollywood action star and was stunned after Bindi, 24, got picked to voice a character in a Marvel animated series over him.

A source told New Idea: ‘It came as a bit of a rude shock that Bindi is still seen as the more bankable star largely because of the huge amounts of press she’s generated.’
The Wildlife Warrior had hoped his animal escapades and newly buff physique would attract Hollywood attention.
‘Robert is single-minded. He spends hours in the gym, networks like a champion, and is seen as very much a real-life superhero,’ the ‘insider’ allegedly said.
Fortunately, there appears to be no bad blood between the Irwin siblings as Robert is said to be Bindi’s ‘biggest fan’.
Bindi Irwin is voicing a character on an episode of Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends
Earlier this month it was announced Bindi had recorded a voice-over for the character Isla Coralton, an oceanographer, on an episode of Spidey and his Amazing Friends.
The computer-animated children’s show, which features young versions of the Marvel superhero characters, airs on the Disney Junior network.
Bindi said Isla was the perfect role for her because they both ‘love wildlife and wild places’ and are ‘passionate’ about making a difference.

‘Being an enormous Marvel fan, it is an honour to be part of the extraordinary world of Spidey and his Amazing Friends,’ she said in a video posted to Instagram.
Bindi began her on-and-off acting career in 2010 when she starred in Free Willy: Escape from Pirate’s Cove with Beau Bridges.
Robert has also acted in small roles including voicing the character of Alfie in the hit children’s series Bluey.
