Robert and Bindi Irwin appeared on The Sunday Project this weekend and they could not stop complimenting each other.

The exchange began when Bindi gushed that her brother was the best dressed of the Irwins as she congratulated him on his blossoming television career.

‘I am so happy, so excited that Robert has taken the torch. I really love sharing our message of wildlife conservation. It’s really nice that Robert is doing all he is’ the 25-year-old said.

Bindi went on: ‘Robert, here is the thing. You are the fashionable Irwin. So, somebody has to be in front of the camera. Some fashion sense.

‘Geez, look at the Irwin timeline here, gosh. Honestly. I’m so proud of you.’

Robert was touched, before launching into his own rant about his proud he is of his sister, who has just launched her new children’s book, You Are a Wildlife Warrior!

‘You worked on this book in the throes of the endometriosis struggle you went through so publicly’ the 20-year-old gushed.

‘You came out the other side being a continuous advocate for endo and the natural world. This is a gift for the world.

‘Thank you for always approaching everything with such a sense of selflessness and absolute courage. You truly are amazing, Bindi.’

While the pair were moved by their public displays of gratitude and sibling pride, not everyone watching at home was amused.

Several people shared their thoughts to social media platform X, indicating that they felt the brother and sister lovefest was a little too saccharine.

‘Nothing will top this level of cringe, Irwin kids telling each other how amazing they are. Vomittttt’ one person commented.

Another viewer watching at home chimed in: ‘I can’t stand two over the top Irwins, and I’m outa here!’.

‘Double the annoyance’ yet another said while someone else posted: ‘When will this end?’

Bindi announced the release of her first children’s book earlier this year.

You Are a Wildlife Warrior! will be available in the US and Australia on February 4, 2025.
