Rocks have been thrown at riot police as they tried to break up an out-of-control Airbnb house party where more than 200 people attended. 

Officers attended the chaotic scene at Wintergreene Drive in Bennett Springs, Perth, at 9.55pm on Friday. 

Owners of the Airbnb said they were unaware of the party and didn’t give permission to the 21-year-old organiser, who told police 90 people would attend.

They had asked police to help clear off the area.  

The rocks thrown by the partygoers had also hit a car belonging to a resident, which resulted in a large dent. 

Multiple residents had called police to report disturbance at the property.

No charges have been laid in relation to the incident.     

The property is advertised as a four bedroom home with two bathrooms and can be rented through Airbnb for $350 per night. 

The home, described as a ‘cosy little house situated in a quiet residential area’, is also up for sale.    

‘The premises are strictly no parties, no smoking and no pets,’ property’s renting conditions read. 

WA Police Force have warned an ‘out of control’ gather can lead to severe penalties of up to 12 months jail and a fine of up to $12,000. 

The investigation is ongoing.
