He has been enjoying the sunshine in Portofino in recent weeks. 

And Rod Stewart cheered on Celtic F.C. in their match against CFR Cluj during the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round with his son  Aiden, seven, in Glasgow on Tuesday. 

The father-of-eight, 74, was suited and booted for the sporting occasion as he put on a highly animated display with his youngest.

Rod looked sharp in a slick grey suit boasting black lining, which he teamed with a white tie and crisp white shirt. 

His locks were styled in his signature spikey do and he kept the sun at bay with a pair of shades. 

Rod proved to be in his element as he got comfortable in his seat alongside Aiden as they witnessed the match.

With his favourite team emerging victorious, the rocker was seen looking delighted as he celebrated in style. 

Rod was recently living it up on a family break across Europe on their £125,000 a week Emotion 2 superyacht in Portofino. 

The yacht, which can host up to 50 guests, comes complete with jet skis, water skis, a deck jacuzzi, an upper deck alfresco cinema and a private side terrace in the master suite.

Portofino is a particularly significant place to the couple as it was the setting for their wedding in 2007.

They tied the knot at a medieval monestary, La Cervara, before honeymooning on board a yacht, Lady Ann Magee in the port there.

At the age of 18, Rod fathered his first child Sarah Streeter, with art student Susannah Boffey, and she was raised by adoptive parents.

He then went on to marry Alana Hamilton, now 73, and the duo became parents to Kimberley, 39, and Sean Stewart, 38.

Following their separation, the Baby Jane belter welcomed daughter Ruby, 30, with model ex-girlfriend Kelly Emberg, now 58.

His second marriage was to New Zealand model Rachel Hunter, 48, from 1990 to 2006, with whom he shares son Liam, 23, and daughter Renée, 26.
