And Rod Stewart has opened up about his womanising past, saying fans used to ‘literally throw themselves’ at him but that he always behaved like a gentleman during a Q&A session at the British Film Institute.
Speaking to The Mirror, the Maggie May rocker, 72, now happily married to model Penny Lancaster, 47, admitted that although he did tire of the constant female attention in the 60s and 70s during his time in band Faces, he would ‘show off’ with his fans.

He said: ‘Women literally used to throw themselves at us. It really was, ‘Oh not again tonight, Ronnie’ (Wood, his bandmate).
‘It has changed. I can only speak from my perspective, but as a rock and roll singer, I used to show off with the girls.’
The Handbags and Gladrags hitmaker said he always behaved like a gentleman to his numerous conquests when asked about how female fans were treated in the 70s.
‘I would never touch a girl unless she wanted me to,’ he said, ‘things have changed. You could get away with a bit more in those days than you can now and things have changed for the good.’

Asked if if he would give his 19-year-old any advice, the musical icon said he believed he had done ‘everything right’ and was always very respectful of his audience.
Elaborating further he said there was ‘f*** all’ he would teach his younger self, and that he loved that he had a ‘bit of spunk’ about himself.
Nowadays the youthful rocker is a far cry from his womanising past as he has been happily married to Penny since 2007, who he began dating in 1999.
They share two young children Alastair, 12, and Aiden, seven.

The star, however, was first married to Alan Hamilton whom he has 37-year-old Sean and 38-year-old Kimberly with.
Rod’s first child Sarah Streeter, 55 and raised by adoptive parents, was born during the rocker’s twenties with art student Susannah Boffey.
The musician raises daughter Ruby, 30, with 57-year-old model ex-girlfriend Kelly Emberg.
He also has daughter Renée 25 and son Liam with ex-wife and Australian model Rachel Hunter, 48 to whom he was wed from 1990-2006.
