Rodrigo Alves unveils her new look in glamorous photoshoot

Rodrigo Alves has taken part in a glamorous new photoshoot to symbolise her ‘rebirth’ as a transgender woman. 

The 36-year-old showed off her new look while wearing a pink semi-sheer embellished bodystocking which showed off her figure in all its glory.  

Appearing confident, Roddy told MailOnline: ‘It’s God’s will for me to be female. I feel like he wanted to use me as an instrument to teach others about being trans.’

Rodrigo said she wishes she had started her journey to transition sooner, rather than spending more than £600k on cosmetic surgery to try to feel comfortable as a man. 

She said: ‘When I was little, I loved dolls and dresses and I felt like I was a little girl, but I had no idea what being transgender meant. 

‘Now it’s something that is much more understood. I spent thousands on having fake abs and biceps, but I felt like a failure as a man, It wasn’t who I was meant to be.’

She said: ‘The feedback on me coming out as trans has been really positive’ and said she wishes she had started transitioning at a younger age

Rodrigo is yet to legally to change her name and is keeping her chosen moniker a secret for now, although she has previously used the name Jessica as her alter-ego.

She said that since she has come out as a woman, people have been incredibly supportive. 

She said: ‘The feedback has been really positive. A lot of men have been asking me for dates.’

Rodrigo is yet to embark on feminisation surgery but said she is taking female hormones now under the direction of a doctor. 

She admitted that she was previously hospitalised for self-medicating with hormones in secret but said now things are under control.

Roddy said: ‘My skin is already softer and my breasts are bigger. I plan to have a boob job, feminisation surgery and finally I will have a full gender reassignment.’

Rodrigo also said that while the decision to become a woman might seem hasty to some, she has been living as a female in secret on and off for two years and now wishes had started the process as a teenager. 

She said: ‘When I was alone, I would have a drink and get a little tipsy and dress up like a girl and walk around the park. 

‘I used to love it if I was mistaken for female at that time – it was a great feeling.’

Rodrigo’s latest shoot was photographed by Josh Brandao, with make-up by Einat Dan and hair by Rei do Megahair. The floral design was by Yan Skates.

Josh said: ‘Roddy gave me complete creative freedom with the shoot and I decided that Rebirth had to be the theme for this story.

‘Inspired by the Birth of Venus by Botticelli, Roddy is reborn in her own spring and blossoms to be her true self.’
