Three men have been arrested after a man and a woman were stabbed at a cemetery.
The victims, both aged in their 20s, were stabbed at Rookwood Cemetery in Lidcombe in Sydney’s west sometime after 1pm on Wednesday.
The pair presented to nearby Auburn Hospital suffering from stab wounds shortly before 2pm.
The man was transferred to another hospital for further treatment.
The victims’ injuries are believed to be serious.
Police launched an investigation and arrested three men at the cemetery, Nine News reported.
The men are assisting police with their inquiries.

A black SUV was seized by officers at the scene for forensic testing.
A section of the cemetery was cordoned off by detectives as a crime scene was established.
Inquiries are ongoing.
No charges have yet been laid.
