Rose Jacobs enjoys a boozy lunch with a handsome mystery man

She jetted to Sydney last week in a bid to ‘restart’ her life after her devastating split from husband Steve Jacobs.

And Rose Jacobs seemed keen to take her mind off the heartache as she enjoyed a boozy lunch with a male pal in the NSW capital on Wednesday.

The 39-year-old seemed to be in good spirits as she greeted her handsome mystery companion with a warm hug and chatted away to him.

Who’s that guy? Steve Jacobs’ estranged wife Rose enjoys a boozy lunch with a handsome mystery man after jetting to Sydney to ‘restart’ her life amid divorce

Rose dressed for the warm weather, donning a simple silky white camisole teamed with skintight black jeans.

The weather presenter completed her look with a black padded jacket and a pair of understated white trainers.

Sweeping her dark hair off her face with a funky printed bandana, she shielded her eyes from the sun with square-frame shades.

Her friend, meanwhile, kept his look casual in a grey T-shirt and light-wash denim jacket.

Rose moved back to Sydney earlier this month with her daughters, Isabella, seven, and Francesca, five, to ‘restart a life in Australia’.

It comes after she and her Today weatherman husband Steve relocated to Vanuatu with their two daughters in mid-2017 in what friends reportedly said was a ‘last-ditch attempt’ to save their marriage.

But things fell apart within a matter of months, and after they split Rose began her fling with Canadian commando, Dylan Nash, 32.

Rose admitted her split from Steve has impacted their children for the better, telling WHO magazine: ‘If anything [the split] has made us better parents.’

Steve has also moved back to Sydney, with the pair sharing custody of their daughters.

On the plane ride back to Sydney  Rose posted a collage of pictures to her Instagram page, saying that heading back home was bittersweet for her.

‘Mixed emotions. Part excitement, part terror, part nostalgia, part sheer joy!’ Rose captioned the Instagram snap.

She added hashtags including ‘I will miss you,’ ‘true friends for life,’ ‘couldn’t be happier,’ ‘I’ve got this’ and ‘doing it for my girls.’
