The disgraced sitcom star with appear on his show next Tuesday, and in a preview of their interview Barr claims to have little control over her social media posts when she takes the sleeping pill.

‘Well, I’ve done some weird things on Ambien, and I think a lot of people have. I’ve heard from thousands of people about it,’ says Barr in a clip obtained by DailyMail.com.

‘One guy got up and cooked a turkey and ate it. That was, like, four hours, if you think about it – and didn’t remember it in the morning. And all the time that happens to me.’

Speaking out: ‘When I go up in the kitchen and there’s a whole box of Triscuits laid out and eggs cracked on the wall, cheese everywhere,’ Barr tells Dr. Oz (Barr above)

Harsh reality: 'Yeah, so I actually looked up Ambien and tweeting is not a side-effect,' explains the host

‘When I go up in the kitchen and there’s a whole box of Triscuits laid out and eggs cracked on the wall, cheese everywhere- I “Ambien eat,” like how Tiger Woods “Ambien drove,”‘ said Barr.

‘It’s a weird drug.’

Dr. Oz then informs Barr that not all behaviors can be explained away by one’s Ambien usage.

‘Yeah, so I actually looked up Ambien and tweeting is not a side-effect,’ explains the host.

That interview will air in full next Tuesday, September 18, on The Dr Oz Show.

DailyMailTV revealed on Thursday that at least one person believes that Barr should have never been fired for her actions.

‘To me it just gets to be a dangerous place where somebody speaks out of line, it might be what they actually believe, they might just be what trying to get attention at the moment,’ said West Wing actor Richard Schiff.

‘And then to be banned – she didn’t physically do anything to anybody.’

He then pointed out that no person is perfect.

‘I understand the sensitivity of race issues and gender issues and all those things. And wouldn’t it be great if we all were all polite and lovely people? But we’re not,’ said Schiff.

‘I just think that we go to dangerous territory when we start depriving the ability of people to make a living because of one thing that they said that was out of line. I find that tough.’
