AFL star Rowan Marshall has been left red in the face after accidentally dropping the F-bomb on live television.

The St Kilda rising star appeared nervous as he was interviewed by the panel of hosts on Nine’s Sunday Footy Show.

The 23-year-old ruckman was discussing his side’s recent win against Melbourne when he fumbled his words and swore twice on air.

‘I was a bit nervous at the start,’ he said.

‘Previously, we would have just gone away from…. oh sh*t, I’ve f**ked it,’ he said while laughing sheepishly.

The hosts immediately jumped in to do damage control with Tony Jones quickly changing the subject.

Footage of the awkward moment later circulated on social media, with users quick to forgive the up-and-comer.

‘He can say f**k as many times as he wants on live TV in my book. Just as long as he’s maintaining that 90+ average on fantasy hehe,’ one user commented.

‘It’s all good. I’ll let that one slide, he’s been a SuperCoach beast all season,’ said another.
