Celebrity Big Brother viewers have rejoiced at the news that Roxanne Pallett has quit the show.
On Saturday morning, an official spokesperson for the Channel 5 show: ‘Roxanne has decided to leave the BB House. The remaining housemates have been informed.’
And after being left outraged that Roxanne accused Ryan of ‘punching’ her earlier this week, fans of the show have now taken to social media to express their delight that she will be ‘facing the public’ and ‘apologising for what she has done.’

On Thursday night, viewers watched on in horror as Roxanne broke down in tears and accused the ex-Corrie actor of being physically abusive.
Footage from the episode shows Ryan jokingly throwing mock boxing jabs at the actress and radio presenter.
She then walked off chuckling, but later looked upset and asked Big Brother to get her a producer for an off-screen chat about the incident.
Later Ryan was summoned to the diary room and given a warning over his behaviour – leaving the general public, as well as Ryan’s friends and family fuming.

However, Roxanne, who at a reported £75K was the highest paid housemate this year, has exited the mansion; news which has been met with a rapturous applause from viewers:

The actress came under fire for her reaction to the incident and her social media accounts were all deleted by Friday morning after she was hounded online.
Many claimed Thomas, 35, was ‘obviously play fighting’ and ‘hardly touched her’ during the incident.
An Ofcom spokesman told MailOnline it had received 11,215 complaints about the ‘punching’ episode.
Pallett has been accused of ‘setting back’ the work of domestic abuse charities.
Just hours after the ‘incident’, her Wikipedia page was hacked, with details changed to say her career ended in 2018 when she appeared on Celebrity Big Brother.
Thomas’ girlfriend and reality TV star Lucy Mecklenburgh called for Pallett to be removed from the show, adding that she does not think she is in a ‘fit’ state of mind.
Others criticised Pallett for ‘belittling actual victims’ of domestic abuse and for a trying to ‘ruin’ Thomas’ career.
Among them was former chief prosecutor Nazir Afzal, who said the actress ‘clearly has issues and needs help’.
In 2017, Pallett revealed she was emotionally and physically tortured by an ex-boyfriend.
She claimed he threw bricks through her window, grabbed her by the throat and dragged her around by the hair.
Pallett said the pair were in a relationship for more than a year and he became controlling within a couple of months.
