Roxy Jacenko’s shocking high school record is revealed as she admits to being thrown out of one of Sydney’s most elite private girls’ schools
Roxy Jacenko shared details of her tumultuous school years during an interview on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Tuesday.
The businesswoman, who closed her successful PR firm Sweaty Betty last year, revealed she was thrown out of an elite private girls’ school in Sydney’s east.
‘I went to three different all-girls schools. I got thrown out of one. I did a few things,’ said the mother of two as she reflected on her younger years.
She was given the boot after taking issue with an art teacher who wanted her to clean up after herself, which she refused to do.
In another incident, she took leave without permission, which was the final straw for school administrators, who promptly expelled her.

Roxy, who was promoting the Stan Original series Bad Behaviour, then turned her attention to bullying, saying people don’t realise the impact it has.
‘I repeated year one. I was cross-eyed. I was the perfect candidate,’ she said of her years being picked on at school.
The publicity queen said Bad Behaviour is an important show for parents to watch as it highlights the dog-eat-dog attitude of some schools.
‘It’s cool to be kind, but it’s only later in life [that you realise],’ she added. ‘I remember these scenarios in school myself.’

‘Kids can be mean – and it’s only getting worse with social media.’
