Roxy Jacenko stands by Candice Warner’s side at husband’s press conference

As Candice Warner sat and watched her husband David apologise to cricket fans for his role in the ball-tampering scandal she wiped away a tear.

The former Iron Woman has been by her husband’s side since the Australian vice-captain was exposed as being part of the now infamous cheating plot involving captain Steve Smith and Cameron Bancroft.

And although she sat near the back of the room during her husband’s emotionally charged press conference, Candice was not alone.

By her side sat her good friend and publicist Roxy Jacenko.

As a clearly emotional Candice placed her head in her hands, Roxy wrapped her arm around her and pulled her in tightly for a hug.

Candice’s shoulder’s could be seen heaving as her tears increased when David began to discuss the impact the criticism of his behaviour has had on wife Candice and daughters Indi and Ivy.

‘Your love means more than anything to me. I know I would not be anything without you. I’m very sorry for putting you through this and I promise I will never put you through this again.’
