She has received rave reviews for her performance as Batwoman in The CW superhero series. 

And on Wednesday, Ruby Rose was pictured filming scenes for Arrowverse crossover series Crisis on Infinite Earths in Vancouver, Canada. 

At one stage, the 33-year-old Australian actress playfully licked her co-star Grant Gustin, who plays The Flash.

Ruby sported her black superhero costume and red wig, as she wrapped her arms around Grant, 29.  

Grant, who has starred as The Flash since 2013, showed off his lean frame in his character’s red and gold bodysuit.  

Crisis on Infinite Earths premieres on The CW network in December, and features stars from Supergirl, Batwoman, The Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow.

Ruby’s Batwoman series premiered across America last week to rave reviews, with many fans already calling for a second season.

The former MTV Australia host stars as Kate Kane, Bruce Wayne’s cousin, who shares his secret penchant for late hours of vigilante work.

Filming for season one began in March, and is set to wrap in December, with an injury believed to have stalled production for a while.  

In September, Ruby revealed she had to undergo emergency surgery after suffering two herniated discs on set several months earlier.

Taking to Instagram, Ruby shared footage of herself undergoing emergency surgery.

She wrote: ‘To everyone asking about my new Pez dispenser scar on my neck, a couple of months ago I was told I needed an emergency surgery or I was risking becoming paralysed.

‘I had herniated two discs doing stunts, and they were close to severing my spinal chord. I was in chronic pain and yet couldn’t feel my arms.’
