Rudy opens up new attack on Stormy Daniels, saying a woman who ‘sells her body’ can’t be trusted

President Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani opened up a new line of attack on Stormy Daniels, saying a person who ‘sells her body’ has no good name and can’t be believed.

His attack on the porn star who claims she had an affair with Trump at a celebrity golf tournament came on a trip to Israel where he spoke at a financial conference, and comes after her lawyer, Michael Avenatti, has portrayed his client as someone standing up for the truth and battling powerful people and institutions.

He was asked at the Globes conference what first lady Melania Trump, who has been in seclusion for weeks following surgery, thinks of the Stormy affair.

‘She believes her husband and she doesn’t think it’s true,’ said Giuliani.

‘I respect women – beautiful women and women with value – but a woman who sells her body for sexual exploitation I don’t respect. Tell me what damage she suffered. Someone who sells his or her body for money has no good name,’ Giuliani said.

‘I don’t believe her. Sue me, but her credibility is like that of a lawyer who gets thrown off a case. As a lawyer, I also got cases that weren’t real.’

His interviewer jumped in:  ‘Mister, on this stage, we respect women.’

Daniels entered into a non-disclosure agreement with longtime Trump lawyer Michael Cohen weeks before the election, receiving a $130,000 payment.

Trump revealed on his latest financial disclosure that he reimbursed Cohen for up to $250,000. He denies having had an affair with Daniels.

The two were photographed together at one of Trump’s celebrity golf tournaments where she claims the pair had sex.

Avenatti punched back on Twitter. ‘Mr. Giuliani is a misogynist. His most recent comments regarding my client, who passed a lie detector test and who the American people believe, are disgusting and a disgrace.’

He added: ‘His client Mr. Trump didn’t seem to have any “moral” issues with her and others back in 2006 and beyond.’

Giuliani also said ‘of course’ President Trump ‘respects women.’

‘I’ve known him for 30 years. He’s a true gentleman. His daughter is one of the most important things in his life,’ Giuliani said.

‘He loves Melania. And he has a great relationship with his former wives, which I can’t say about everybody,’ the divorcing Giuliani continued. ‘What that shows is even though they separated, as happens unfortunately in the modern world, they have great respect for each other. Those children wouldn’t be the way they were if he and Ivana didn’t respect each other.’

Giuliani also accused Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigators of trying to ‘frame’ Trump.

Speaking at the Globes conference in Tel Aviv on a trip to Israel that he said runs a week, the outspoken Trump lawyer said his client hasn’t ‘done anything wrong.’

Giuliani referenced the investigators when he said there are ’13 highly partisan Democrats … (who) are trying very very hard to frame him to get him in trouble when he hasn’t done anything wrong.’

He was picking up a repeated attack by Trump about the political affiliation of many of Mueller’s top investigators. Mueller himself is a Republican.

He said Trump has the power to pardon himself, but won’t because he is innocent.

Giuliani also defended Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a close Trump ally, who is facing corruption charges of his won.

‘The case against Netanyahu is a joke. There’s not a politician in the world that doesn’t do deals with newspapers to get favorable coverage,’ Globes reported. ‘You’re very lucky to have a distinguished prime minister who enjoys relations like these with the US president,’ he added.

Giuliani was speaking to the Globes capital market conference in Tel Aviv.

He stood by his position articulated Sunday that Trump had the power to pardon himself – stating the president’s innocence when asked if the president is ‘above the law.’ He said Sunday it would be ‘unthinkable’ for him to do so.

‘U.S. law states that the president has the authority to pardon people who have committed federal crimes. This was determined by our Founding Fathers. President Clinton pardoned criminals who contributed money to his library and got away scot-free,’ Giuliani said.

‘Trump is innocent. He’s done nothing bad. There are people who are trying very hard to incriminate him because they’re incapable of mentally facing the fact that he is the president, so they’re inventing theories.’

Giuliani said Trump has the ‘right and the duty to fire the FBI director,’ a reference to James Comey and his handling of the Clinton email scandal.

‘Holding a press conference and talking about her investigation was like saying, ‘I won’t file an indictment against you, but you’re a murderer,’ Giuliani said.

Giuliani also made an explosive comment about North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un, who is set to meet Trump in a summit in Singapore next week.

Trump announced he was pulling out of the summit, only to put it back on after the North Korean side was surprisingly conciliatory.

‘Well, Kim Jong Un got back on his hands and knees and begged for it, which is exactly the position you want to put him in,’ said Giuliani.

Giuliani also minimized Russian election interference by comparing it to U.S. efforts to promote democracy abroad (the U.S. during the Cold War also took a series of actions to try to install friendly regimes and remove unfriendly ones).

“Is the TV series ‘The Americans’ being broadcast in Israel? The Russians have been trying to influence our elections since the 1950s and this has to be accepted,’ Giuliani said.

‘Have we Americans never interfered with elections outside the US? Of course we have. We do it to disseminate democratic values – everyone tried to interfere in elections. The question is whether it was done illegally – whether they broke into email accounts, which really is a crime, but the side whose email accounts were broken into should also have protected them,’ he said.

‘I don’t know why Putin preferred Trump as president. Maybe he wanted to prove that he could. No serious journalist in the U.S. thought that Trump would win. I thought he would win,’ said Giuliani.
