Bachelorette fan favourite Apollo Jackson couldn’t resist joining-in on ribbing runner-up Jarrod Woodgate.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, the professional magician shared a video that saw him referencing the contestant’s infamous ‘plantgate’ saga.
The clip saw the 24-year-old running down the halls of Channel Ten with a pot plant in hand, before eventually tracking down and presenting it to Jarrod.

The lighthearted-yet-awkward video appeared to be clearly scripted, with the alleged ‘stave five clinger’ offering a less-than-convincing response.
As Channel Ten staffers chortled in the background, Apollo theatrically rolled into a room where Jarrod just happened to be waiting – with a rose in hand.
‘Oh Apollo, what is this?’ he responded in an unconvincing take, feigning shock.
Getting down on his knees and stretching his arms out like a bird presenting for its potential mate, the magician replied: ‘I’m putting my plants out for Jarrod!’

Turning to camera, he added with a wink: ‘And you should too!’
Apollo was referencing the hashtag ‘#putyourplantsoutforJarrod’ which trended on Twitter after he was dumped on Thursday night’s brutal finale.
The hashtag was in itself a call-back to a running plot-line this season, that followed the mysterious case of ‘who urinated in Jarrod’s pot plant?’

The drama began in an earlier episode of the show, in which Jarrod and Bachelorette Sophie Monk planted seeds in a pot plant.
The contestant has maintained the seeds were planted in a ‘circle of love,’ but began to suspect another cast member urinated in the dish after they failed to sprout.
In one joyous moment, he pulled Sophie aside to inform her that contrary to his prior concerns, the seeds – which he viewed as a symbol of their love – had begun to grow.
