Hip hop icon Russell Simmons is facing a new claim of sexual assault and accused of chillingly telling his alleged victim: ‘I’m going to f**k you or I’m going to f**k your son,’ Dailymail.com can reveal.
Simmons is being sued for $10million by a woman who claims he raped her in a hotel room in Sacramento, California and threatened to rape her young son if she didn’t comply.
An attorney for the unidentified woman, named on legal papers as Jane Doe, filed the lawsuit in downtown Los Angeles on Friday, making her the 16th woman to allege Simmons was guilty of a sex crime.
Court documents, obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com, allege Simmons – founder of Def Jam Recordings – invited the woman to his hotel room following a concert in Sacramento.
The alleged victim, who is from Sacramento, says she attended a hip hop concert to chaperone her son who was in elementary school at the time and a fan of Def Jam.
New claims: A 16th woman has come forward and has accused hip hop legend Russell Simmons (pictured in LA on March 17) of raping her in a hotel room in Sacramento, California
An unidentified woman, named on legal papers as Jane Doe, filed the lawsuit in downtown Los Angeles on Friday. She is suing for $10M
During the concert, the papers allege, Simmons, 60, approached Doe and invited her and her son to come backstage and meet the artists, which they did.
The music mogul then invited her to go to the ‘after party’ at the now closed Clarion Hotel where he was staying after dropping her son off at home with a babysitter, the papers claim.
Simmons and Doe socialized at the hotel bar before he asked the woman to show him some local nightclubs.
‘They went to the CoCo Palms nightclub and then returned to the hotel with the intention of continuing to socialize at the bar,’ the documents state.
Simmons then enticed the woman up to his room because he said he had to get something.
She was reluctant, but Simmons assured her that he wasn’t interested in sex because he was dating a well-known model, the papers say.
Assured by Simmons’s ‘lies’, she agreed to join him up in the room.
The documents, filed by attorney Douglas Mastroianni, state: ‘After entering the room, Simmons shut the door and said ‘I am going to f**k you.’ Plaintiff said she had no intention of having sexual relations with Simmons — but he replied ‘I am going to f**k you or I’m going to f**k your son. You decide.’
The papers added: ‘[Doe] was shocked that Simmons would threaten her — let alone threaten to rape her young son. Simmons threw her on the bed and raped her.’

According to the papers there’s at least one witness who saw the woman leave the hotel room in tears and she apparently told several people about the rape at or near the time of the attack.
Unusually, the lawsuit doesn’t give an approximate date of the incident.
The documents say the woman suffered ‘severe emotional distress’ and is seeking $10million in punitive damages.
Mastroianni told DailyMail.com: ‘I have a daughter so I admire and am grateful for women like my client who have come forward to expose Russell Simmons.
‘This case, and others like it, will make the world safer for women and we have people like my client to thank for that.’
