A Russian couple have been arrested after footage went viral on Facebook showing a four-month-old baby being swung by its legs.
The video clip, filmed in Malaysia, shows a man dangling the baby girl by her feet and hoisting her roughly into the air.
A crowd of people can be seen watching the street performance, which appeared to be a busking effort to fund a round-the-world trip.
The buskers, a 28-year-old man and his 27-year-old wife, were detained after trying to woo spectators in the heart of the capital Kuala Lumpur.

‘We detained them on Monday for questioning over the alleged abuse of their four-month-old baby girl,’ said Mazlan Lazim, the Kuala Lumpur police chief.
In the footage a man wearing a white T-shirt and blue shorts holds the baby upside down between his legs before lifting it high above his head.
He then grabs his daughter by her chest and starts throwing her into the air, launching her further each time before catching her again.
A woman believed to be his wife was seen sitting on the floor with a placard that read: ‘We are travelling around the world…’
A crowd of curious onlookers gathered to watch the performance, some of them taking pictures and video of the bizarre act.
One man is overheard in the video objecting to the stunt, saying: ‘It’s stupid. You cannot do this.’
The Russian couple had entered Malaysia from neighbouring Thailand on Friday, police said.
