Incredible Go-Pro footage has emerged showing Russian fighter jets performing stunning aerobatics.

The fascinating video, uploaded to YouTube earlier this week, was filmed at the MAKS 2017 International Airshow at Zhukovsky International Airport, 25 miles southeast of Moscow.

In order to get the fantastic shots Russian Knight aerobatic pilot Artur Sarkisyan attached a Go-Pro camera to his jet using a custom-made hi-speed bracket to hold it in place during his squad’s performance.

The Go-Pro camera attached to Artur Sarkisyan’s jet shows an incredible view of the Russian Kinghts’ aerobatic performance

He managed to record the planes flying in formation as well as striking views of the landscape below.

And despite his jet’s aerobatic manoeuvres, the camera did not budge once, providing a glimpse into the performance from a rare angle.

More than 450,000 people attended the MAKS Airshow over the weekend it was held in July this year.

The event was established in 1992 and is now held biennially on odd years.

The Russian Knights were formed in 1991 and consists of a team of six Su-30SMs jets.
