Rylan Clark looked unrecognisable on Sunday as he took to Instagram to show off his long blonde locks in a number of selfies.

The presenter, 33, who found fame on The X Factor in 2012, is known for his short black hair however that wasn’t always the case and he seems to have changed it up again. 

When the star first appeared on the show he donned long bleached blonde tresses and to celebrate 10 years since finding fame, Rylan has recreated the look.

The It Takes Two host wowed in a blonde wig which cascaded past his shoulders as he posed for selfies on social media. 

He couldn’t contain his smile for the snaps and revealed that he actually ‘hated the fact’ that he ‘liked’ the look again. 

The star headed to his Radio 2 show sporting the new but old look and added a black baseball cap to his head.

He captioned the posts: ‘Happy 10 years babe… I hate the fact I’m liking this hair again’. 

Rylan took to his Instagram Story to share a short clip of him riding to work in a car in the eye catching wig. 

He later held up a peace sign to the camera while in his radio studio ahead of going on air as he sported a black zip up jumper and blue jeans.

Rylan found fame on The X Factor in 2012 and a year later went on to win Celebrity Big Brother before later taking on hosting duties. 

The star found his way into presenting and has hosted shows such as Strictly’s It Takes Two, Supermarket Sweep, This Morning and now has his own Radio 2 show. 

Last month, Rylan revealed that he confided in close friends and showbiz ‘step-parents’ Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes during his battle with depression – which saw him hospitalised and attempt to take his own life.

Describing the moment he saw the married couple as a ‘wake-up call’, the presenter admitted that he had ‘never seen Eamonn that upset before’.

The TV star has detailed his heartbreaking time in his new memoir Ten: The Decade That Changed My Future. 

In extracts of the book obtained by The Sun, the presenter explained how he stayed with his mother, Linda, for three months – following a stay in a private health facility.

Following this, he returned to hospital for a week after taking a bad spell, which led to Linda secretly reaching out to Ruth and Eamonn.

Dubbing them two of his closest friends in the industry, Rylan wrote: ‘I remember how their faces looked when they saw me, seeing how badly ill I was, and then Eamonn became very upset. I’d never seen Eamonn get upset like that before, and that was like a wake-up call.

‘I remember thinking, “Do I look that ill? Am I that bad?” It was just awful. They stayed with me all that day.’

The star has previously admitted to Ruth and Eamonn being ‘frightened’ for him and ‘shocked’ at his fragile state.
